Warms Hands Art Therapy Camps

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

Warm Hands Art Therapy Camps provide psychological and physical care for children who have suffered displacement and the loss of parental care as a result of the war in Ukraine. Some children have lost one or both parents in the war, while others were orphans prior to the outbreak of war. Children are from families who have lost their homes. To help raise funds for continued operation of this program you can make a monetary donation and/or purchase copies of the children’s artwork in our Gift Shop.

Purpose:

Provide an intensive 10-day encampment using state of the art methods and techniques in art therapy, spiritual support, and rehabilitation using natural resources of nature, animal interaction & sports activities.

Mission

To provide the children with:
An increased level of self-esteem & self confidence.

  • An improved psychosocial state by showing kindness and love with spiritual care.
  • Ways to develop imagination, motor skills, lifeskills, creative thinking and their world view using art therapy.
  • Provide meals and opportunities to make friendships and developing.

UCHI SUPPORT

UCHI formed a partnership with the Ukrainian non-profit organization “Pyatirnya” with grants from its Ukrainian Humanitarian Relief Fund. The UHRF was started to accept monetary donations to provide grants for humanitarian aid needed as a result from the 2022 RussianFederation military invasion of Ukraine.
